I grew up between Athens and Lemnos, spending childhood summers at the lighthouses where my father worked as a lighthouse keeper. After his death, I returned to those lighthouses, their keepers, archives, logbooks, photographs and the objects he left behind.

Eleni Zentefi studied Psychology, Theatre, and Documentary Filmmaking. She has taught theatre improvisation and filmmaking, and has collaborated with production companies on creative film projects. My Cosmonaut marks her directorial debut.
